The Varsi celebrations of Peeran Da Peer Data Dastagir Badshah of Baghdad was celebrated with reverence and joy at SufiDar from the 11th of June to the 11th of July 2002. The altar of Peeran Da Peer Data Dastagir Badshah was decorated with flowers with colorful lights lining the carved rosewood rims. Statues of various Gods were dressed up in beautiful robes. Paper flowers and frills decorated the walls of SufiDar.
Devotees made offerings of Rumal (brocade) at the decorative portrait of Peeran Da Peer Data Dastagir Badshah. Everyday the regular ritual of Duaa was performed in the afternoon. Devotees participated in the Varsi and took blessings from Peeran Da Peer Data Dastagir Badshah. During the celebrations, special parsad was made everyday in Sufidar. Puj Dada Ratanchandji made offerings of the parsad to Data Dastagir Badshah of Baghdad. The parsad was distributed among the devotees after the duaa.
The samapati (last day) was held on 11th July, which also happened to be Chand (New Moon). Arti was performed for Guru Nanakji and Jhoolelal Sain. On the last day, the Sangat felt truly blessed for Puj Dadaji gave pravachan a little before the start of the duaa.
