Id-Ul-Fitr Celebrations

        Id-Ul-Fitr was celebrated on 6th December 2002. During the entire month of Ramzan, the Sufidar Trust rendered service at the Big Mosque, Triplicane, Chennai. Shevadaaris from Sufidar rendered humble service at the Big Mosque during the Holy month of Ramzan. Every evening after the prayers, Shevadaaris distributed food to the Muslim brethren breaking their fast. All the activities like organizing and distributing the refreshments to the Muslim brethren were carried out under the guidance of Puj Dada Ratanchandji.

Article that appeared in the Indian Express newspaper on 6th December 2002:

"Ratanchand visits the Big Mosque

Head of the Sufidar Trust, Pujya Dada Ratanchandji, gave food to Muslims who broke their fast at the Big Mosque in Triplicane on Thursday. According to a sevadari (volunteer), the Sufidar Trust does not discriminate based on religion and has been distributing food over the past month."
