It was the year 1921. Ramchand Lulla was on the lookout for a job. He and his wife Parameshwari were on their way to the dargah of Paru Shah to seek his blessings so that their desire may soon be fulfilled. They happened to see Shahenshah Baba Nebhraj coming towards them. Lulla immediately asked his wife to get out of the way of Shahenshah Baba Nebhraj, lest he, being crazy, should strike her. Parameshwari remarked: "What if he is crazy? We are going to bow before him. Perchance he may bless us and you may soon get a job." She had barely uttered these words when Shahenshah Baba Nebhraj came and reached close to them.
Lulla folded his hands while Parameshwari touched the feet of Shahenshah Baba Nebhraj. Shahenshah Baba Nebhraj immediately pulled her by the plait of her hair and said: "He needs a job, Lord! Give him." Exactly a week later, Lulla got a job. Lulla thereafter, placed immense faith in Shahenshah Baba Nebhraj. He no longer regarded him as crazy but started worshipping him as a saint and a dervish.
